As a part of their preparations, Guyana’s National Under-19 team will engage the GCB Academy players in a friendly 3-Day practice match today to Thursday at the Everest Cricket Club ground.
This 3-Day game was structured to benefit the team in improving their strengths and correcting their weaknesses as they make their way across to St. Vincent on the 30th July with the aim of retaining the CWI Regional Under-19 double championship.
The teams are as follows: National Under-19: Bhaskar Yadram – Captain, Kevin Sinclair, Alex Algoo, Sachin Singh, Adrian Anthony, Christopher Hinds, Junior Sinclair, Kevlon Anderson, Javed Karim, Yeudister Persaud, Kelvin Umroa, Joshua Persaud, Ashmead Nedd and Qumar Torrington. This team will be managed by Andy Ramnarine and Coach Julian Moore.
The six stand-by players are: Joel Fortune, Sadik Khan, Sherland Anthony, Kurt Lovell, Karan Arjpaul and Silvan Williams.
Academy: Akshaya Persaud – Captain, Anthony Adams – Vice Captain, Robin Bacchus, Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Raymon Perez, Tevin Imlach , Sherfane Rutherford, Kemol Savory, Clinton Pestano, Ramaal Lewis, Raun Johnson, Richie Looknauth and Ricardo Adams. The team will be managed by Michael Franco, while Clive Grimmond functions as the Coach.
