The Guyana Badminton Association & The Unit of Allied of Arts (Physical Education Department) is expressing thanks to National Badminton Player Narayan Ramdhani for running off a Two Weeks Badminton Camp, and giving some of his vacation time and vast knowledge to the young Badminton players from schools around Georgetown which included Queens College, Marian Academy, Winfer Gardens Primary School, School of the Nations and Eccles Primary School.
Narayan, who holds the Badminton World Federation Shuttle Time Tutor Certificate, not only shared his knowledge of how to become a better Badminton player, but he also supplied all the Rackets and Shuttlecocks for this two weeks Camp. He is also Studying and training Badminton on a five year scholarship in Canada.
This is the second year in a row Narayan is conducting this Camp in Guyana.
He is also representing Guyana at the CAC Games in Barranquilla Colombia July 28th-August 4th along with Jonathan Mangra and Priyanna Ramdhani to compete in the Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles. This Badminton Tournament will have 6-Olympians and 5-Players Ranked in the top 100 in the world.
The Guyanese players have been preparing for these games training twice daily and the GBA is very sure that they will put in their all to represent their country.
