Owing to the unpredictable weather that drenched Georgetown with more rain in recent memory, and deference to our major sponsor Heineken, the decision to postpone the Heineken Open to next Saturday was taken with heavy heart, a release from the Lusignan Golf Club informed.
The tournament was launched earlier this week and promised keen competition among the leading players that were expected to turnout. However, players and fans alike will have to wait until next Saturday for the real excitement is to unfold. The club is inviting all to come out then and enjoy the competition and all the other comforts they have on offer.
However, the club is open all weekend and they will have a full bar with drinks and food specials available.
