The West Indies Blind and Visually impaired women’s team will go head to head with England in a five-match T20 cricket series scheduled to commence on Monday in Barbados.
The 10-day series will include a one-day workshop by the WICCBVI on one of rest days.
The home team, which include five Guyanese, will have training sessions from today after the team assembles in Barbados and matches will comprise of both Day and Night matches under lights.
The Guyanese players; Crystal Aulder, Melieka Crawford, Ackela Smith, Robecka Edinboro and Rosemarie Ramitt along with Guyana Blind Cricket Association (GUYBCA) officials Ganesh Singh (himself a West Indies male Blind player) and Theresa Pemberton departed for Barbados yesterday.
