The Guyana Cricket Board, on Wednesday last donated a Honda brush cutter to the LBI Community Center Cricket Club (LBICCCC). The brief presentation took place at the GCB office on Regent Road, Bourda.
President of the club, Mr. Yeuraj Khemraj, received the gift on behalf of his members noting that it would come in useful for the maintenance of the ground. The GCB has donated brush cutters to several clubs across Guyana including Bayroc and East Bank as well as the University of Guyana-Turkeyen Campus, with the aim of assisting in the maintenance and up-keep of cricket grounds in these areas.
The GCB hopes that cricketers in the area would benefit from this donation and that the club would be able to function effectively to prepare its facility in a timely manner to accommodate matches and practice sessions.
