Tomorrow, from 08:30hrs at the Vryheid’s Lust playfield, the South Turkeyen Sports Committee and Black Stallion Football Club will host a pre-Father’s Day five-a-side Penalty Shootout and Football competition for teams in the area which includes Better Hope, Vryheid’s Lust, Sophia and Plaisance among others.
Teams are allowed a maximum of six players and they will pay a pittance of $3,000 to enter into the competition where trophies, medals and cash prizes will be at stake.
The Cash prize is sponsored by Big Pop Habeed, Carry Cargo and the Region Four Democratic Council, while the trophies will be provided by Tent City, Trophy Stall Bourda Market and the medals are sponsored Johnny ‘Overseas’ Barnwell and Family.
