Cummings Lodge Secondary School beat North Georgetown Secondary by 10 wickets in the Final of the seven-team Dexter Cush/ Johil Store School Boys knock-out Tapeball cricket Competition at the Durban Park Tarmac last Saturday.
North Georgetown batted first and scored 70-3 six overs with Nkosi Beaton top scoring with 34 before Kishore Seepersaud (40) and Deoram Narine (16) saw Cummings Lodge to 74 without loss to capture a Trophy and Medals.
Both Beaton and Seepersaud were adjudged the best players in the tournament and received medals.
The tournament was coordinated by James Lewis and also included RBI, IAE, Sophia Special School, Guyana Education Trust College and St John’s College.
The runners-up received a Trophy and the next competition is set for June 16.
