I was happy when the appointment of the cricket Ombudsman was made public, but I sense that something was not going well in that direction. Over a period of time, I pointed out in your letters column, the reasons for a new National Cricket Board. At this very moment, a section of the negative elements are wearing all kind of cricket gear to keep them in office.
My final appeal, could a group of legal luminaries who are enthusiastic lovers of cricket, take the field and bowl positive balls to success. Remember our female cricketers are in the limelight too, so let them have representation on the new National Board.
