Divisional Commander of Police B Division Assistant Commissioner Lyndon Alves and his senior officers continue their wide ranging meeting with stakeholders throughout Berbice in an effort to strengthen the police and community relationship.
On Wednesday the Commander held a meeting in his office at Strand and Forbes Burnham (Coburg) Streets with a number of stake holders in Berbice.
Among those in attendance were the deputy Commander Superintendent Wayne De Hearte , Officers in charge of the No1, 2 and 3 subdivisions, officers in charge of traffic, Crime and a number of other senior officers in the division.
Also in attendance were a number of pastors and community leaders who are members of the Cops and Faith Community Network from throughout Berbice. Main topics on the agenda were the discussion of the learner driver programme and the continuation of the intervention plan for first time juvenile offenders.
