The Ryan Crawford Memorial Turf Club one day horserace meet will be staged tomorrow at the Alness Village, Corentyne Berbice Racetrack starting from 1:00pm.
Keen competition is anticipated with several leading racehorses in action and attractive cash prizes on offer. Six races are carded for the day with the main event fixed for horses classified J Class and Lower. The winner of this event will claim a $200,000 prize and trophy. This event will see the long awaited clash between Not This Time of the Shacking Stable, O. Royan of the Crawford Stable and Wise Thom among others battling for that purse.
Other races on the programme will see L Class and Lower Open, L/2, L/3, K Class and Lower and Cow horse in action.
The track is said to be in excellent condition and an exciting day of horseracing is anticipated.
