A full service interior design company, Abiosi Creations, specializes in both residential and commercial designs.
The company which has been in existence for nearly a decade is located at Lot 61 Cummings Street, Georgetown. It provides decorating services for weddings, birthday celebrations, baby showers and other special events.
Abiosi Creations is headed by the talented Marlon Agrippa, who has been a designer for 12 years.

The company has done décor at the Pegasus Hotel, Marriott Hotel, Park Vue Hotel and Tower Suites just to name a few.
It has provided catering services for all sorts of events given its relationship with local craftsmen and sub-contractors who ensure that projects are completed with the highest standards.
Agrippa said that his company’s main focus is on serving and satisfying customers. As such, it works on projects of all sizes, from complete design services for all types of events, to simply helping clients choose the right colours for occasions.
According to Agrippa, he gets pleasure from the variety of experiences his career offers and after completing projects, his clients’ would often tell him that he seems like both a trusted advisor and close friend. Working to educate the public on what interior designing involves is one of Agrippa’s passion and he has facilitated several programs in designing, understanding shades and understanding the environment and its relevant objects.
He has dedicated his time to teaching youth about his skill of event planning and interior décor.
The company, however, offers services such as facilitation, training, planning and budgeting.
‘Dress to be Addressed and not to Impress’ was a training programme conducted by Agrippa to promote positive self-image. He was trained under the USAID President Barack Obama Initiative for the Caribbean and worked as a research assistant on many projects with the University of the West Indies Mona Campus in Jamaica in collaboration with the University of Guyana (UG). These projects focused on female contraceptives and men’s awareness.
Apart from these, this designer has worked with Every Child Guyana U.K. branch targeting HIV/AIDS, the infected/affected child/person.
It was while working with the U.S. Embassy in Guyana that Agrippa focused on youth and crime. Agrippa who was trained under the watchful eyes of London-based designer Joy Washington, graduated from the University of Guyana (UG) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and Sociology respectively.
He also underwent basic design courses at the E. R. Burrowes School of Arts. Agrippa was formerly employed by the Ministry of Social Protection where he was engaged in the domestic violence and sexual offences unit. This strong believer in community work has been dedicating his social skill to the community through the non-governmental organization (NGO) 60-Plus Blazers which he found in 2015 in honour of his mother who lost her fight with diabetes.
Members of the NGO who are persons over 60 years of age would meet on the first Thursday of every month at the Brickdam Life Cathedral to interact with each other.
With his talent and leadership, Agrippa continues to lead the industry with his innovative works. He is best described as a social person who enjoys an evening of a cold glass of wine and a movie that can be considered a lifetime story.
Please share this to every Guyanese including your house cats.
