Work on Food for the Poor’s (Guyana) Incorporated (FFTP) 13th village is progressing steadily.
Some 60 families are expected to benefit from the housing project which is located in the Union/ Trafalgar area on the West Coast of Berbice, Region Five.
The houses under construction are two-bedroom wooden structures, measuring 20 feet by 16feet, equipped with toilet and bath, as well as a water tank.
The New Hope Community Development Project at Onderneeming also in Region Five was the last village built by FFTP. Forty-three families benefited from the project in November 2016.
Over 3500 housing units have been built for families across Guyana since the organisation’s housing project began.
