DCC will face-off with TSC in tomorrow’s Final of the GCA’s Toucan Distributers 50-over U-15 competition after beating GCC by two wickets yesterday in Queenstown in the second semi-final.
GCC batted first and made 179-7 before their 50 overs expired as Rivaldo Phillips top scored with a well put together 56.
He got from Aaron Persaud (37) and Thaddeus Lovell (33) as Mark Sharma (3-16), Romel Deonarine (2-22) and Indergit Nanan (2-29) bowled well for DCC who made 181-8 in 47.3 overs in an exciting finish.
Nanan led DCC into the final with 44, while Jaden Campbelle (34) and Gustavo Hutson (27) chipped in with important runs.
Persaud (3-25) and Josh Chandra (3-28) were GCC most successful bowlers. (Sean Devers)
