The South Turkeyen Sports Committee (STSC) and New Level Sports Bar will be hosting a six-team dominoes competition on Sunday at Sadam Place, Lot 8 Dennis Street, Sophia.
Action gets underway at 15:00hrs and entrance fee is $6,000. Among the teams registered so far are B13, SS and others. Trophies and medals are being donated by Tent City and Trophy Stall Bourda Market, Johnny Barnwell and Sadam.
The STSC and Queen’s College Sports Committee will be staging a six-over Tapeball tournament for forms two and three students starting on Saturday at Jubilee Park at 09:30hrs. Entrance fee is $4,000 per team and the competition will conclude on March 24. At stake are trophies and medals donated by Trophy Stall, P and P Insurance, National Sports Commission and Henry Chase.
Among the Schools slated to take part are Queen’s College, Chase Foundation, Bishop’s High, North Georgetown, St. John’s Secondary, Tutorial, Christ Church and Marian Academy.
