Dear Sir,
Reference is hereby made to the above caption as it relates to: “Justice delayed is justice denied” Guyana Chronicle- 14-02-18 by R. Trim. It has been brought to my attention that an allegation has been made against me as the purported letter writer.
In debunking the “wild accusation, it must be made crystal clear that R. Trim is known to me in excess of 25 years, and was once the manager of the now defunct Thomas United”. But the individual, who is a citizen of the USA, isn’t the letter writer, since Richard and I frequently interact via mobile phones.
And in most of our conversations, he would enquire about local football. As a consequence Editor, it’s my sincere desire for R. Trim, to reveal his/her true identity, which would dispel any notion of “Sealey being involved in assisting with the contents of the letter and its subsequent publication”!
Suffice it to say, that not being involved in the day-day administration of football as an executive since 2010, it would be extremely dishonest and unprofessional of me to ask the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) to “Conduct an investigation into sexual molestations of young boys and female football referees by a football coach and officials” respectively.
Respectfully yours,
Lester Sealey.
