Hon Dr. George Norton, MP, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport has been honoured by the Founder President and Director of The Best of the Best Martial Arts School Guyana (BBMASG), Quacy Baveghems a Soke 9th Degree Black Belt Professor.
A release from the school stated that Dr. Norton was presented with a medal of Honour and an Honorary Diploma in the fighting style of Mixed Martial Arts 2nd Degree Black Belt. Also being honored were Assistant Director of Sport Melissa Dow-Richardson (Honorary Diploma in the fighting style of Mixed Martial Arts 1st Degree Black Belt) and Managing Director of the Red Cherry Mr. Pierre Mathoo along with his wife, Mrs. Connie Mathoo who were both presented with a Medal of Honour.
The honourees were recognized for their contributions towards the aiding and up-lifting of the students of the Best of the Best Martial Arts School Guyana.
