Jonathan Ramsuchit, who represented Guyana at the Caribbean Junior Road Cycling championships earlier in the month, won Gold in the Boys’ under-16, 2000m and 3000m, while he had to settle for silver in the 1500m which was good enough to help District 6 (Corentyne) win the Cycling Championships. District 6 that finished on 229 points, piped the defending overall champions District 10 (Upper Demerara/Kwakwani) that finished on 222 by a meager seven points.
District four (East Coast) finished with 122 points, while district three (West Demerara/Essequibo Islands) was the other district to finish above 100 points.
