Dear Sir,
I write to your newspaper about an incident in which two elderly overseas-based Guyanese gentlemen along with their elderly driver were on their way from CJI Airport when they were robbed by armed bandits.
The mere fact that these people had just arrived in Guyana, and to suffer such an ordeal in the way they did, made me sick to my stomach. This behaviour by these criminals is harming Guyana, and its prospects of developing tourism because by all accounts, no visitor is safe.
As for me I am a born Guyanese living overseas and I am not happy at all at what is going on. These criminals when caught ought to be removed from society for the rest of their lives.
Frank Azore
Please share this to every Guyanese including your house cats.
