Jamal John emerged winner of the United We Stand Cycle Club (UWSCC) organised Dash for Cash 30-lap race yesterday in the National Park.
John, who also won three sprint prizes, topped a strong field which included second placed Geron Williams and Walter Grant-Stuart who finished in that order behind the winner who clocked One Hour 06 Minutes 25.65 Seconds.
Winning the Junior category was Briton John, while Junior Niles was the top Veteran.
Niles also pedaled away with four sprint prizes. Curtis Dey won three, Briton John two while there was one each for Grant-Stuart, Alanzo Ambrose, Paul De Nobrega, Andrew Hicks and Williams.
A total twenty-three (23) riders participated in the event which saw the top three Seniors as well as the top Junior and Veteran being rewarded with cash.
