With less than three weeks before the first whistle in the 4th annual New Era Entertainment/Mohamed’s Enterprise Futsal competition, the event, which is seeing its largest participation this year, is benefitting from additional sponsorships. The latest sponsors of this tournament, that will see 25 teams, inclusive of 7 from the capital city of Georgetown vying for over $1M in cash and prizes at the Mackenzie Sports Club tarmac in Linden, are Bumper to Bumper and Mr. Kumar Sankar.
Bumper to Bumper Services is a coating company that supply and furnish automotive, decorative and Industrial paints based in Anira Street Kingstown. Adeiola Cordis, Assistant Administration Manager of the company was happy to make the presentation of the sponsorship cheque to Shareef Major, Director of New Era Entertainment.
Mr. Kumar Sankar through a representative presented to Kenrick Noel Director of New Era their contribution to the tournament.
The futsal competition is set to kick off on Friday, November 24 and will conclude on one month later on Boxing Day.
The winners of the competition will pocket $500,000, second place $150,000, third $50,000 and fourth finishers will receive a trophy.
Sparta Boss, Meadowbrook, Customs, Bent Street and West Front Road ‘Gold is Money’ are among the city teams who will be participating in the event for the first time.
Each match night they will be give-a-ways from Ansa Mcal trading company.
