Christ Church and Charlestown recorded victories when the PKF Barcellos Narine and Company Inter Ward School Boys round robin Tapeball competition commenced recently at the National Cultural Centre tarmac.
Christ Church defeated Queen’s College. Queen’s College batted first and scored 31 off their allocation of six overs. Christ Church responded with 32 in 3.2 overs.
South took first strike and made 55-4, while Charlestown replied with 56. Cummings Lodge scored 41, batting first and Queenstown responded with 43-6.
Christ Church took first knock and managed 38 against Tucville who made 30 in reply. The competition which is being organised by Royal Tapeball Cricket Academy will continue on Saturday.
