Exponents of the street version of football will be going at each other for cash and prizes at stake in tomorrow’s Black Water Football Club organised small goal & penalty shootout one-day competition at the East Ruimveldt Tarmac.
The competition has attracted teams from Lodge, East Ruimveldt, A, B, C, and D Fields in Sophia along with Meadow Brook. Other interested teams are welcomed to register. This is according to coordinator of the event Johnny ‘Overseas’ Barnwell who is working along with Coachman Troy.
The Registration fee for the 7-players-per-team tournament is $4000 and interested teams have until tomorrow at 09:30hrs at the competition venue to signal their intention of participating, kick-off time is 10:00hrs.
Trophies up for grabs have been donated by Tent City and Trophy Stall of Bourda Market while the medals have been contributed by the organisers, Coachman Troy and Barnwell.
