Every day people talking how GPL robbing dem. If is not by charging dem fuh lights when giving dem blackouts, is by sending dem light bills that asking dem fuh more money fuh current than dem consume. And when de people go in to dem, some clerk telling dem how de company gun check, but de people got to pay de bill till de check done.
Of course de check never show that people consume less. When de people kick up a fuss and go to de Waterfalls paper, some of dem does get a small discount. Then GPL does go and change de meter because de old one got a fault.
De other day some gunmen decide that dem gun rob GPL. Dem tackle de office at Mon Repos. Dem tun up wid dem gun and fire couple shots. But de police wasn’t far. Dem respond so fast that de gunmen drop wha dem tek from de people and beat out. If things wasn’t so frightening people woulda laugh.
Now people seh dem ain’t going back to de office to pay de bill and if GPL want de money just like how dem does tun up at de house to cut off de lights, de same way dem can come to de house and collect de money.
But dem boys want to warn dem bandits. Dem read bout two bandits in Florida who go in a man house to rob him. This man was a big serial rapist and is not that he does rape women. He does rape men and de two bandits walk right into he house.
People didn’t see when dem walk in. Is only later dem hear de hollering, but of course people frighten to intervene. Dem call de police. When de police come dem find de two bandits tie up naked as dem born and dem crying.
Dem tell de police is five days dem tie up in de house and de man handle dem round de clock. Dem was two men who was never so glad to see de police. And dem got de nerve to sue de man fuh physical and mental cruelty. Kwame seh he sorry he wasn’t one of dem Florida bandit. He seh he woulda mek de rapist collapse from fatigue.
