Tomorrow from 19:00hrs the 4th annual Fitness Paradise Gym Expo will take place at the Theatre Guild Playhouse in Kingston. The event will be one that differs from the traditional format in several respects.
Traditionally the Fitness Paradise Gym Expo is an event contested by Fitness Paradise Gym and its partner establishment Studio Body Shape of Paramaribo, Suriname. This year, while the Suriname gym will not be able to field a team, 5 visitors and one judge from Suriname will be in attendance.
This year’s event aims at selecting a Miss Gym Expo Personality – the lady who does not only have an in-shape body, but who can speak intelligently and persuasively about her sport and its benefits.
The ladies who will be on stage tomorrow have already done a written examination and will be further tested on stage in an interview segment designed to test their ability to represent their sport to an audience.
Making guest-posing appearances at the Gym Expo will be the Miss Bikini 2016 champion Xameira Kippins and there will be a special dance display by Aerobics instructor Fiano Spencer.
Up to Press time a number of companies have already thrown their support behind this year’s Gym Expo, including CAMEX Enterprises through Pollo Tropical, Phoenix Enterprises, Pharmagen Enterprises, Fitness Express, German’s Restaurant, Xie Xie Restaurant, Sabina Global Communities, Spice Garden Restaurant, SINGER, Herdmanston Lodge and Trophy Stall of Bourda Street.
