Students from the Association Do Shotokan Karate-Guyana, Dojo’s – Linden, Albion, Blairmont, Land of Canaan, Canal #1 and Georgetown were examined and graded. Following are the results:
2nd Dan Promotion: 1. Matthew Alexander Gurahoo – YMCA
1st Dan promotions: 1. Harikirtan Singh – YMCA; 2. Orlando Giddings – YMCA; 3. Joshua Parasram – Blairmont; 4. Aarti Ramgolam – Canaan, 5. Alex Nandram Benjamin – Canaan; 6. Sean Paul Wesley – Canaan.
Outstanding KYU grades, promotions: 10 KYU to 8 KYU – Javy Archibald, Daniel Cox, Jelani Jones, Brandon Foo, Alexander Singh, Kenetha Fraser, Cleon Brisport, Javari McKenzie, Rasheed John, Shoaib Majid, Robert Gittens, Emily Ramlochand, Fardeen Thomas, Benjamin Best, Eshan Brij, Ronald Arjune, Paul Albert, Jaden Clarke, Bibi Farook, Emmaunel Griffith, Leonardo Totaram, Thamishwar Dyasindoo.

Total KYU grades, promotions: 24 students to Yellow Belt (8 KYU), 38 students to Orange Belt (7 KYU), 21 students to Green Belt (6 KYU), 12 students to Blue Belt (5 KYU), 10 students to Purple Belt (4 KYU), 18 students to Brown Belt (3 KYU), 4 students to Brown Belt (2 KYU), 6 students to Brown Belt (1 KYU).
Six (6) students to 1st DAN (Black Belt), One (1) student to 2nd DAN (Black Belt).
