Tumeranie Walters was crowned champion of the Black Stallion Sports Club King dominoes competition which was contested recently at South Vryheid’s Lust Housing Scheme.
Annalisa McArthur placed second, while Verna Weddell finished third. The top three finishers received trophies and medals donated by Johnny Barnwell, Trophy Stall and Tent City.
Meanwhile, The Ministry of Education/ National Sports Commission will conduct its annual swimming programme from July 10 – August 18 at the National Aquatic Centre.
Registration will conclude on July 4 and interested persons are asked to contact Desiree Cummings at Colgrain pool, Camp Street on 226-0387 or Wilton Spencer at the National Aquatic Centre, Liliendaal on 222-1306 between the hours of 08:30 and 16:00.
Parents are asked to bring provide their children birth certificates and a registration fee of $1000 will be charged.
