Marlon Boyer, a businessman of Port Kaituma Water Front Region One, recently made a timely donation to Port Kaituma Secondary school football team which is currently preparing for the Digicel schools football tournament.
Following a practice session at the Fitzburg ground, Kimtse Castello, vice chairman of Matarkai Sports Committee, handed over the balls to Port Kaituma Secondary School Captain Delroy Peters, on behalf of Boyer.
The balls will boost the team’s preparation as they hunt victory at this year’s tournament. Ryan James, Region one Sports organizer expressed gratitude to the businessman and urged the players to remain committed. He encouraged the players to support each other and to put their best foot forward, while Martarkai SC chairman Sherlon Rodrigues called on other businesses to support sports in the area.
Port Kaituma Secondary is expected to go into action next weekend.
