Organisers of the inaugural ‘Cuff Out’ Amateur Boxing Tournament, which was originally billed for tomorrow at the Vergenoegen Rice Mill Tarmac, has been cancelled and a new date of Monday July 31st, has been set, the same venue remains.
According to a release from the promoters, Slingerz Entertainment and the Vergenoegen Boxing Gym, the change of date is as a result of lack of sponsorship and bad weather, among other reasons.
The sponsors on board to date are Courts Guyana Ltd., Ansa McAl, Two Brothers Gulf Motor Oil and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
