BRANDERZ Guyana has maintained its tradition of outfitting Guyana’s powerlifters when they acquiesced to the Guyana Amateur Powerlifting Federation (GAPF) request for sponsorship again.
Owner of the printing establishment, Mr. Martin Brock handed over a cheque to cover the travelling and competition attire for Team Guyana which is set to compete at the upcoming NAPF/Caribbean and NAPF/FESUPO Powerlifting Championships in Orlando Florida, next month.
Brock, in brief remarks at the presentation ceremony, reminded GAPF Vice President Edwin Spencer that they are happy to continue the tradition of support for Guyana’s strongmen and women in their quest to bring further glory to the Land of Many Waters.
He noted that the exciting group of athletes has shown encouraging commitment, dedication and discipline over months of tedious preparations for next month’s championships and his company is more than happy to lend support to the cause.
Spencer, on behalf of the federation expressed gratitude to Mr. Brock for his entity’s commitment, noting that the athletes will endeavor to give of their best to make themselves and the nation proud from July 3-8, next.
