– Bids in to procure tower for Bartica Radio Station
During the opening of tenders at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) yesterday, contractors vied for the contract to construct two health centres for Region Five (Mahaica/Berbice).
One will be constructed at Carlton Hall, East Coast Demerara and the other, will be built at Mon Choisi, West Coast Berbice.
Below are the names of the bidders for the Carlton Hall facility and their respective bids:

Contractors also vied for the contract to procure a tower for the Bartica Radio Station, Region Seven (Cuyuni/Mazaruni). The Office of the Prime Minister is the procuring entity.
Contractors submitted bids for the contract to rehabilitate the Palms Geriatric Medical Facility (Phase Two), Brickdam Georgetown. The Ministry of Social Protection is the procuring entity.
The Ministry of Public Security is the procuring entity for the procurement of janitorial/cleaning supplies, field and uniform materials, and drugs and medical supplies. This contract was divided into three lots.
Tenders were also opened for the procurement of drugs and medical supplies for ambulances attached to the Guyana Prison Service (GPS).
The RDC for Region Six (East Berbice/Corentyne) is the procuring entity for the procurement of materials. This contract was divided into three lots: lot one, office materials and supplies; lot two, janitorial and cleaning supplies; and lot three, field materials and supplies.
The Ministry of Education is the procuring entity for several contracts.
For the supply, delivery, installation and testing of sports equipment for the National Sports Commission:

The Ministry of Agriculture is the procuring entity for the construction of a public road bridge over the rehabilitated Cunha Canal, Land of Canaan, East Bank Demerara.
The Guyana Energy Agency (GEA) is the procuring entity for the supply and installation of 22Kwp Grid Connection Solar Photovoltaic System, 45 KW Hybrid Inverter and 160 KWh Energy Storage System.
The Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) was listed as the procuring entity for several contracts.
