Iris Bolivar claimed that she came to Guyana because of the situation in Venezuela. Marlon Atwell also told a similar story.
Marlon Atwell and Yennifer Bolivar claimed also they entered Guyana illegally as a result of their passports being lost.
According to facts presented in court, the trio was found in a house at Lot 907 Penny Lane, South Ruimveldt Park, Georgetown when police conducted a raid on June 3, last. The facts stated that the three failed to produce their passports.
Attorney-at-Law Dexter Todd told the court that Marlon’s father, Martin Atwell, is a born-Guyanese . The lawyer said Yennifer is in a relationship with Martin Atwell and is five months pregnant.
The court was told that Iris Bolivar is engaged to Miguel Atwell, another son of Martin Atwell. Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan ordered that Iris Bolivar be escorted to the nearest port of exit upon payment of the fine or serving the default prison term.
