A 22-year-old man was killed early yesterday after his vehicle reportedly crashed into
three cows at Philadelphia, East Bank Essequibo.
The accident occurred around 02:30 hrs.
Dead is Reaz Khan, a caretaker of the Guyana Islamic Institute of Vergenoegen, EBE.
According to reports, the driver and four students from the Islamic Institute were heading to Parika early yesterday when their vehicle collided with the cows and toppled.
The four students were taken to the Leonora Cottage Hospital. Khan was pronounced dead at the said hospital.
The investigation is ongoing.
