Friday last, C&A Unique in collaboration with South Quake Youth Ministry launched its second annual football competition entitled ‘The Church meets The Street’.
The competition began last year which saw 16 teams participating. This year they are looking forward to getting 40 teams to compete in one day. Cash prizes and trophies are up for grab. First place will win $50,000, 2nd place $25,000 and 3rd $15,000.
Competition begins at 8:30 am Friday at the Tucville Secondary School Ground.
This event is geared towards bringing together youths from the church and youths from the streets that might be victims in domestic problems, depression, drug use, suicidal thoughts, etc and also to build a bridge between persons in the church and the men that play football. There will be live performance by from Double G coming out of Linden.
Please share this to every Guyanese including your house cats.
