Systems are being put in place for the May 7 Jumbo Jet Stables in association with the Rising Sun Turf Club one day horserace meet starting at 12:30pm. The venue is the Rising Sun Turf Club and an action packed event is anticipated.
Seven races are carded for the day with most of the top stables represented and leading horses involved. The main attraction is for D3 and Lower horses for a first prize of $1M and trophy over 1400m.
Other events on the programme are for G1 and lower and E3 non earners for six month over 1400m for a $400,000 purse. The H3 and lower and 4-years non earners for 2017 will gallop over 1100m with the winner claiming $350,000. The 3 year Guyana Bred horses will battle for $250,000 over 1400m, the J2 and lower winner will cash in on a $200,000 purse, I Maiden $175,000 and the Cow horse $100,000, with all over 1400m.
