The 2017 Swimming Championships will be held in Nassau, Bahamas from Saturday to Tuesday. Guyana will be represented by a four person delegation, two pool swimmers and two open water swimmers.
Roger Perreira, accountant, Bounty Farm Ltd hands over the sponsorship cheque to Stephanie Fraser, head coach of the Dorado Speed Swim Club, while Lian Winter (2nd right), and her dad, Duane Winter share the moment.
Bounty Farm Ltd as part of their corporate responsibility has made a financial contribution to assist Lian Winter to be able to attend the championships. This is her first Carifta Games and she will be competing in six events, 50, 100 and 200 butterfly and 50, 100 and 200 Backstroke.
