The Port Mourant Turf Club in collaboration with friends of Port Mourant will this Sunday hold a grand one day Gymkhana and Fun Day at the club’s track, Port Mourant Corentyne Berbice.
Known for hosting fantastic events, the Port Mourant Turf Club is expected to be a kaleidoscope of colours as a variety of events has been planned for the day.
There are a number of top notch horserace events listed on the day with races for horses classified H and lower, J and lower, K and lower L and lower. There are also events for 3 years old Guyana bred maiden horses and another event for horses that never started in an event.
Added attraction includes donkey races, horse cart races, bun eating races and athletics.
There will also be a number of added attractions for the kids- with kite flying competition, trampoline, slides, bouncy castle, face painting and many more activities on the cards.
The first 100 kids will all receive free kites. There will be live entertainment by the popular Chutney star Bounty Singh, Kaddy Kish and Trevon Vibes out of Georgetown among others.
A number of sponsors are on board including Ansa Mcal, Red Square Vodka, Ramcharitar Construction, Shaba Car Rental, Fiesta Guinness Bar and Prophecy Car Rental among others.
Music will be supplied by Shocking Vibes International and Chromatic Sound featuring some of the top DJs in Berbice including DJ Dauren, DJ Dellon Shrimpy and Vaughn Hype.
