January, winning the Second Annual Caura ‘Go Green’ 10km Road Race in 38:43 with Trinidadians Elvis Turner (39:03) and Guswil George (40:04) finishing in that order.
“I was under pressure halfway through the hilly course in the morning breeze. I was injured since January this year and only recently started back competing,” D’Andrade stated yesterday, adding that he is preparing for the Sea-to-Sea Half Marathon in May.
The Caura ‘Go Green’ 10k Road Race is a challenging course, created for athletes to experience the beauty of Trinidad’s Northern Range with its gentle slopes, smooth declines and magnificent views while preparing for upcoming marathons. The race had 230 participants.
