Two teens were yesterday placed on $200,000 bail each when they appeared in the Springlands Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Rabindranauth Singh to answer to the charge of attempted murder.
Eshwardat Sookram, 18, of Lot 526 Number 76 Village, Corentyne and Seeram Ramdatt, 19, of Lot 80 Grant 1780 Crabwood Creek, were charged jointly for attempted murder.
The charge stated that on March 25, last, with the intent to commit murder, the duo wounded Rishidat Chandradat.
Bail was granted for the teenagers and they will return to court on April 13, for reports.
Meanwhile, Chandradat is said to be in a stable condition and has since been transferred to the Georgetown Hospital.
