Parking meters come to Guyana and it causing a stir. Fuh a long time City Hall was saying that it need money. De PPP use to ignore de call but when Soulja Bai come to power de council decide to flex its wings.
De meter meet wid objection from de start but de law seh that de city can do certain things. That was de big mistake because City Hall start to target vendors. De vendors kick up a racket and all that happen is that they move from one point to another. Couple constables decide to join in and dem hustle couple vendors.
But de problem come wid de parking meter. De Council decide to set up meters all about wheh people does go. Dem start wid school. Some smart people know that parents got to pick up dem children from school so de council put up meters. De noise that it cause mek de council decide to move de meters.
Then de council target churches. People got to go to church and de council decide that dem have to pay. Dem go so far as to put up meters outside Freedom House because people des go there every day. Dem trap poor Donald. And that is wheh de fun start because is only then people know de meters can talk.
De meter that trap Donald had a voice like Kit. It seh that Donald park illegal. He didn’t park parallel and he didn’t park in de middle of de road yet he park illegal. Kit stand up like de parking meter and seh how once people park, dem parking illegal. He even point to a spot wheh de council mark off.
De only thing is that who park deh got to walk to Regent Street to pay and then walk back. Is de same thing wid dem banks. Dem boys want to know if de council wukking wid bandits because if a man got to park far then he got to walk wid he cash to de place wheh he park. All dem bandits got to do now is stand up by de parking meter.
In fact, dem boys now saying that dem suspect that de parking meter people was de bandits from de start.
Talk half and watch who gun get shoot.
