-Event part of Fifth Form CSEC Physical Education Project
Marian Academy will host a National Schools’ Relay Championships on Saturday at the Police
Sports Club Ground, Eve Leary from 9:00am as part of its fifth form students’ Caribbean Secondary Examination Council (CSEC) Project.
The activity will form part of the class project for the 2017 CSEC Physical Education exam that will be held May/June. The fifth form students, therefore, in a press release yesterday, invited all enthusiasts to come out and help make the event a success.
The competition is open to the first to fifth form student-athletes only, and interested schools are asked make contact with Physical Education teacher, Keith Smith on 675-5566 or 650-2928 or the schools’ office on 226-9045.
The prizes that will be given include: medals for first to third place and trophies for first to third place schools. One of the members of Marian Academy Physical Education Planning Committee for the Project, Jahleel Young told Kaieteur Sport that the event planning is well on stream and it promises to be a successful athletics competition.
Admission to the Police Sports Club Ground, Eve Leary on Saturday is $100.
