An early morning smash up yesterday involving a minibus and a motorcar has left one
dead and four injured.
Twenty-eight-year old Toushana Frank, of Central Amelia’s Ward was pronounced dead on arrival at the Linden Hospital Complex.
According to Commander of E Division, Snr. Superintendent Fazil Karimbaskh, around 01:45hrs, Frank was in motorcar PSS 6725 driven by her mother Paula Taylor, 51. They lived together and were proceeding north along the Amelia’s Ward Public Road when Taylor lost control and collided with minibus BTT 766 driven by Royston Telford, 57, of Industrial Area. He was going in the opposite direction.
Reports are that Telford and Taylor are hospitalized and the two other occupants of the car, Jenica Chan, 10, and Darnell Frank 4, were treated and sent away.
Investigations are continuing.
