Water Wells in Region Four to be rehabilitated
During the opening of tenders at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB), Ministry of Finance, Georgetown yesterday, contractors vied for the contract to renovate the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) building, Georgetown. The entity was listed as the procuring entity and the engineer’s estimate was announced at $12.5M.
Tenders were open for the contract to rehabilitate water wells in Region Four (Demerara/Mahaica). The procuring entity was listed as the Guyana Water Incorporated (GWI). The engineer’s estimate was announced at $22.7M. The contract comprises four lots.
Tenders were also open for the procurement of office furniture for GECOM. The entity was also listed as the procuring entity.
Tenders were also open for the procurement of office supplies for GECOM. This contract comprises of three Lots: Lot One, air-condition units; Lot Two, office items; and Lot Three, toners.
Tenders were open for the construction of a studio for the National Communications Network. The engineer’s estimate was announced at $4.9M. This contract attracted one bidder, RC Construction. The bid price was $4.6M.
Bids were also open for the provision of security services for NCN.
Tenders were open for the procurement of Solar Power Equipment for the Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (IAST).
Finally, tenders were open for the supply and delivery of vehicles of the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA). The contract comprises of four lots: Lot one, Motor Bus (big bus); Lot Two, Pit-bull Minibus; and Lot three, 4×4 double-cab pickup type vehicle (with additional accessories).
