Who will be the last two teams standing will be known today when the semi-finals of the 3rd Annual Smalta Girls Pee Wee Football Competition kicks off today, at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.
St. Angela’s are coming off a morale boosting win over St. Stephen’s (last year’s champions) and will no doubt be beaming with confidence for today’s clash against South Ruimveldt for a place in the final, while St. Pius are pitted against West Ruimveldt in what has become a traditional encounter for bragging rights among the teams that are based in the West Georgetown community.
However, before that there will be play in the positional segment and the fixtures are seen below:
