During the opening of the bids at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB), Main Street , Georgetown, yesterday, the names of several foreign companies popped up.
The contracts that attracted much attention from these contractors were the procurement of electrical items. These items, according to the procuring entity, the Central Housing and Planning Authority (CH&PA), are slated to be implemented in several housing projects located in Regions Two, Three, Four, Five, Six and Seven.
Tenders were opened for the contract to procure single phase transformers.
Bids were opened for the procurement of electrical hardware materials.
Tenders were also opened for the procurement of electrical conductors.
