A Fort Ordinance, East Canje home was on Sunday broken into. Now two sisters fear that the burglars will strike again.
Tenant Temekia Edwards, who was not at home at the time of the incident, told Kaieteur News that she, her sister and her niece were away at a birthday function when she received the news.
“I was out with my sister celebrating my mother’s birthday and my boyfriend called me to say that somebody break into the house.”
According to the traumatized woman, when she arrived to the home, she noticed her 55″ flat screen TV missing and the entire house ransacked.
The men escaped with a total of $120,000 in cash and a pair of gold earrings.
According to the woman, the bandits gained entry into the home by prising open the grill on the window located in her bedroom.
This is not the first time the home was robbed.
According to a police source, no one has since been arrested as investigations continue.
