Clear Waters joined Kennard’s Memorial Turf Club (KMTC) as a sponsor for their annual Post-Emancipation Day Horse Race meeting fixed for next Sunday September 18 at their Bush Lot, Corentyne, Berbice racetrack.
On Friday morning last, at a simple ceremony, Mr. A. Hardat, Marketing, Sales & Distribution Manager handed over the first prize for the2 Years old race ($200,000) to Justice Cecil Kennard at his Brickdam office.
The race would be contested under the ‘Clear Water’ label and during Friday’s hand over ceremony, Hardat emphasised that Clear Waters, which entered into a sponsorship arrangement with Chairman of the KMTC, Justice Cecil Kennard, is in support ofthis equestrian performance sport and can say with absolute certainty that this event will be well received.
In response Justice Kennard relayed deep gratitude, while acknowledging the value of such support and believes that no sports programme could be successful without such corporate intervention and is in great appreciation of the support rendered by Clear Waters over the years.
