The 3 Team Pelfrey drivers Phillippe Denes, Calvin Ming and Kaylen Frederick were very successful in qualifying for the top three grid positions yesterday morning, with all three posting times faster than the previous record for the Formula 1600 races in Pittsburgh at the lnternational Race Complex there.
Their coach, Jonathan Baker, co-ordinated a very good strategy, which undoubtedly paid off for the Team Pelfrey trio.
The first of the three races was scheduled for yesterday with the remaining two fixed for today at 9:45 am and 2:45 pm.
