Dear Editor;
Our senior citizens are much more deserving of respect than is currently meted out to them both in the public and in the private sectors
This is particularly evident at banks and post offices especially at month ends when salaries and pensions become payable. There was one bank in the city where a special line was allocated to senior citizens but for some unknown reason this noble practice was discontinued much to the frustration and inconvenience of the sick and elderly. It is time for those in positions of authority to put in place the necessary arrangements to make life easier for our senior citizens many of whom have given years of dedicated service to this nation.
