The Bartica Football Association leg of the GFF/NAMILCO Thunderbolt Flour Power National Intra
Association Under-17 League kicked off last weekend with three of the four scheduled matches at the Bartica Community Centre ground.
Rising Stars FC needled Millballers thanks to a Paul John 15th minute goal. Wolves United roared to a 2-0 triumph over Agatash United. Leon Chan in the 7th minute and Ryan Richards in the 19th were the players on target for the Wolves.
Potaro Strikers took full points via the walk over route from Lazio FC which did not make an appearance while Beacons and Riversview battled a 1-1 stalemate. Joshua Jones scored for Beacons while Mellon Richardson responded for Riversview.
Matches are set to continue this weekend at the same venue at 14:00hrs and 16:00hrs respectively. Tomorrow, Beacons will come up against Ballers FC with Rising Star taking on Riversview. On Sunday, Potaro Strikers are down to play Wolves United which would be followed by a match between Lazio and Agatash.
