South Turkeyen Sports Committee (STSC) will be hosting a walk-a-ton in observance of Father’s Day on June 24 starting at 06:00 hrs. The event will commence from Square of the Revolution and proceed around Georgetown before concluding at the National Park. Following its conclusion, the committee will honour 25 fathers from Sophia. Entrance fee is $200 per mile.
The committee will also be hosting a six-over softball competition on the same day at the Ministry of Education ground commencing at 10:00hrs.
Entrance fee is $6,000 and trophies and medals will be provided by Tent City, P & P Insurance Brookers and Trophy Stall Bourda Market.
Jagdeo giving Exxon 102 cent to collect 2 cent.
